Full Body Burial & Scattered Ashes in San Diego Naval Burial at Sea

Military Burial at Sea is a dignified and respectful way to honor the service and sacrifice of a military veteran. At Funerals at Sea, we are proud to offer this service to families of military personnel who wish to lay their loved ones to rest in the sea. “Honoring Those Who Served” is a program provided by the Department of Defense that allows families a dignified military funeral honors to our veterans who have served our nation in a time honored tradition.

We offer the Military Burial at Sea service to honor the wishes of those who have served in the military and wish to have their ashes scattered at sea or wish to have a full body burial at sea. The Naval sea burial service is typically held off the coast of San Diego and involves the scattering of ashes in the ocean or the committing of a full body burial at sea. The funeral at sea may be preceded by a traditional military ceremony that may include Color Guard services of a flag folding and presentation, a bugler playing taps, and/or a gun salute, depending on your veteran’s rank and eligibility for different services.
